We survived :-)

Well we did survive our very busy week.

So here is an overview:
Dan and I celebrated our 11 yr wedding anniversary. It is hard to believe it has been 11 years.

We have done so much in 11 years, but I still remember our wedding and my calm all day like it was yesterday! It was truely a blessed day. Of course we have had our ups and downs...what marriage doesn't, but we overcome them together and that is what COUNTS! We spend it at Caitlin's dance recital..how romantic! :-D

Dan parents, Mike and Carolynn, came to visit us during this time too. This was the 1st time we have seen them this year. Christmas was thir last visit. So needless to say we were all excited to see them. They arrived on Friday, May 30th. And they got to endure our crazy week with us. hahaha I am not sure they were prepared for our high speed life, but they hung on and did great. :-)
On friday, Austin had his final cub scout pack meeting. He got his new ranking and a bunch of awards and patches. While everyone was there, Caitlin and I went to her dance dress rehersal. Hair, makeup, costume and all. I was not ready to see her in blue eye shadow, but the teacher insisted blue is the best. So off to walmart we went to buy BLUE makeup. All I have to say after seeing her all dolled up, Dan and I will have grey hair in 10 yrs I am sure from her or her boyfriends. hahaha BUT we told her she isn't allowed to date until she is 30! She looked so grown up.

Then Saturday, the 31st...we all went and watched her recital. My mom came down from Oklahoma and joined us for the weekend.
Here are a few pictures.

Then our weekend continued on Sunday, the 1st....Austin's 8th birthday. Of course I find it hard to believe that he is really 8, but I guess they have to grow up.
